Alberto Lenz: Al Cubo

Mexican artist Alberto Lenz artistic statement reveals the minimum and exact geometrical unity: the universal pattern of the cube/square. His figures are stylized to their basic lineal and geometrical expressions, reducing them to pure form and color, thus proving experience as perception in itself, or in other words, sight as the vehicle for the logic of creation. Lenz has always identified with contemporary constructivism and minimalist movements. His works stem from rational-logical systems within the processes of design and artistic creation; they are acts of repetition, variation, and combination of essential structures.
